I love the elegy Dean wrote for Koch. It is very touching.
Love your blog. Fred Hersch was at WMU today teaching a master class. My son is a bassist up there. He was blown away.
C.Dale, I'm not sure I've seen that poem. Is it the title poem? If so, yeah, that's a good poem.
If not, where can I find the poem.

Charmi, Hersch IS simply amazing. When I hear him playing I can feel numbers flying through the air . . . some sort of visual math. Monk would've loved it.
