It is a remarkable book. I'm glad the NBCC honored it.
I agree. I think this is the first time that my pick for the best book of the year and that of any of the big awards landed on the same book.
Which speaks, perhaps to how good it really is—near universal acclaim. I hadn't been a huge fan of hers before this book, but now, I've been recommending it a lot.
