Tell us about the riffraff at the boat show.
Well, I was born in Portland, January 6, 1965, for starters.
John...I love what you're doing here. I downloaded the latest Audacity. Now I just need to wrangle a student to show my how to YouTube and background noise video a recording. It was good seeing you/hearing you read. I only wish we could do this more than once a year...

Audacity is really easy to use. You can import mp3s as new tracks, and there are a lot of free sound effects and music tracks you can download (Just google search FREE SFX).
The video can be as easy or complicated as you want it to be. You can appropriate (ahem) things from videos on YouTube. If you have Real Player you can download them, and once you do you can import them into something like Windows Movie Maker (which came free with my laptop) and then use bits of them.
It was good seeing you and hearing you read as well. The Barn Owl Review crowd turned out to be a pretty good crowd.
Would be nice if file download search could be peformed here.
